ITINERARY:
DAY 01: CUSCO – TINKI – UPIS.
Start the day by being picked up from your hotel and being transferred to the town of tinki. The journey takes an average of 3.5 hours. The route shows beautiful and picturesque landscape, beautiful villages like Urcos, Ccatca, Ocongate. Also in this trajectory one can see quiet houses with colorfully dressed women and the Ausangate Mountain as the highest snow cap in this region which can be seen almost from all points and which we will also approach. From Tinqui , a beautiful journey through the villages uphill leads us through until we reach Upis, this camp from the Ausangate circuit shows a beautiful grassland, with a variety of birds, llamas and alpacas which gives a special color to the Ausangate camp at 4,300 m, overnight. DAY 2: UPIS – ARAPA PASS – JATUN PUCACOCHA.
The early morning will provide the trekker with singing birds near the campsite. After a refreshing breakfast, the trek goes on, this time by a beautiful pampa leading to a rise towards the Arapa Pass a beautiful sight at any point, the same pass, a pass of reddish sand, a panoramic view no matter where you gaze, the road sector is quiet, walking along the side of Ausangate, a road on a slight slope that leads to a combination of dark lagoons and crystal clear waters, this sector is indicated for lunch, lunch while the landscape is expected to delight the eyes, then the food must continuously walk through a small creek to the shores of hatun pucaqocha (big red lagoon) where the night is spent. DAY 3: JATUN PUCACOCHA – PALOMANI PASS – HUCHUY FINAYA.
Today will be even more spectacular than the last as in the morning we will hike gradually climbing expecting to reach a second pass called Apacheta (4,850 mt. 15,908 ft). After an intense descent to another beautiful lake called Ausangate Lagoon, where at the end of this lake is where we will rest and have lunch. After lunch comes an intense climb to the highest pass, Palomani Pass which reaches an average of 5,200 meters, to make it a long descent towards Finaya huchuy and pass the a quiet night in tents at the campsite. DAY 4: HUCHUY FINAYA / QAMPA (5050 MT, 16.564 FT.) COMERQOCHA.
The Ausangate circuit is characterized as one of the highest hiking treks in Peru, the treks are over 4,000 meters, hence the mornings are very cold, but once the sun rises the temperature changes. Today after breakfast, the trek starts along a quiet road along extensive grassland until we reach lunch. Then comes a fairly steep hill and lake, until the Jampa Pass, the second highest with a height of 5050. From the passage comes the north western sector mountains, perpetual snowcapped mountains. On the way as usual you can see shepherds with colorful costumes, llamas and alpacas are of spectacular site in their natural habitat. B / L / D

DAY 5: COMERQOCHA – PACCHANTA.
In this part of the road, our walk is fairly easy as we caress colorful lagoons for comfortable trek. This part of the trek we will observe rustic houses of the shepherds that herd llamas and alpacas. Everything is downhill until we reach “Pacchanta”. Pacchanta in a small town that has medicinal thermal waters, so lunch is important upon arrival and after a nice nap; you can take a refreshing bath until late. Dinner before the overnight stay. DAY 06: PACCHANTA – ASNAQOCHA.
This part of the road shows something impressive, an inhospitable road seldom visited by tourists, starting with a short ascending climb until the pass of Maranpaki is reached. From there leads a fairly short descent to a beautiful village of shepherds, houses made of stone where children harmoniously play. From this place crossing streams continue up the valley to Asnaqocha, a murky lagoon where birds endlessly swim. Above, there is an impressive glacier, while at this lake on a small hill is our camp where we will have dinner and stay overnight. B / L / D

DAY 7: ASNAQOCHA – SINGRINAQOCHA – QOCHASIKI.
Another fantastic day awaits us as well as breakfast, and then re-start the walk back uphill, as it’s a fairly easy climb and magnificent as the landscape draws our attention to go slow to enjoy these unique views. The pass of Asnaqocha is sometimes blanketed of vicuñas that run in the distance at 14,600 ft. After this step is a fairly gradual slope and as always we will be accompanied by beautiful snowcaps. At the distance, the Singrinqocha lagoon appears, the characteristic of this lake is that its waters are turquoise, bright with color and even being close, its color does not diminish. We can approach these waters to touch them. Lunch is next to the lagoon, and after a break we continue to camp towards the mouth of this beautiful lagoon. B / L / D

DAY 8: QOCHASIKI MALLMA CUSCO.
Awakening to this day is of double joy, joy to have met this beautiful place while knowing that a few hours away we will finally finish the famous trek of Ausangate. Starting with a simple hike downhill to Mallma, which is where our transportation to return will be waiting. However, before it is time to say goodbye to the carrier, we will have lunch and from there we return to Cusco where our service ends with the respective transfer to your hotel.
