Our Tour:

It is the most complete journey shows us the main attractions in the south: The Ballestas- islands rich in flora and fauna coastal access, the mysterious Nazca Lines, the picturesque white city of Arequipa and the deep Colca Canyon, where we can observe the majestic flight of the Condors. We visited the Lake Titicaca – cradle of ancient cultures-with its famous Uros floating islands and traditional Amantani and Taquile Islands. We explore the ancient capital of the Incas: Cusco, the impressive Sacsayhuaman and the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas with the fascinating archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. A major challenge will be the 4-day trek on the famous Inca Trail to the enigmatic lost city of the Incas: The legendary Machupicchu. Finally we enjoyed three days in the jungle south of Peru watching exotic birds, caimans, giant otters. See the best of Southern Peru With Us!

DAY 2 LIMA – PISCO-born (Ballestas Islands)
We leave early by bus to the city of Pisco (3 hours). We arrived at the port of Pisco continue our journey by boat. On our way to the Ballestas islands we passed the famous chandelier and we have ample time to enjoy and observe marine life. Free time for lunch in one of the restaurants on the beach. In the afternoon we follow the scenic route by bus to Nazca where we arrived in the evening to our comfortable hotel.

DAY 3 NAZCA – AREQUIPA (Nazca Lines)
The morning is dedicated to the famous and mysterious Nazca Lines (discovered and explored by Maria Reiche). We appreciate this wonder on a scenic flight by plane from apprx. 1 hour. In the afternoon we visited the old cemetery of the Nazca culture Chauchilla and have free time to visit the house / museum Maria Reiche or rest before the bus trip from Nazca to Arequipa. The trip lasts all night (appr. 8 hours) by the Panamerican Highway and we have a bus with semi-bed seats.

Free day in Arequipa (2325 m) to rest, shopping or optional visits. The beautiful white city has much to offer. We recommend visiting the convent of Sta. Catalina or one of the many museums. Overnight at the hotel in Arequipa.

Early we start our long journey by bus to the Colca Canyon – with its 3400 m probably the deepest in the world. On the way we see incredible views of the Andes and the farmers terraces of the region, Alpacas and wild vicunas. Overnight we stay in Canyon Lodge.

In the morning we traveled by bus from Chivay to Cruz del Condor where we see the majestic condors in their natural habitat. In the afternoon it takes us a panoramic journey through the Andes to the highest navigable lake in the world and our hotel in Puno for overnight.

Floating Islands and Amantani Island
After breakfast we start our tour of the highest navigable lake in the world with a visit to the fascinating floating Uros islands. Here we continue our boat trip for 2 hours to the traditional island Amantani where we stayed overnight in the homes of local people can be part of their daily lives and traditions. We ended our day with a spectacular sunset from the top of the island where, with clear weather, you can look up the Cordillera Real in Bolivia.

DAY 8 LAKE TITICACA- Amantani / Taquile / Puno
After the traditional breakfast we say goodbye to our hosts and toured one oe hours by boat to the neighboring island of Taquile where people still live as their ancestors. We have enough time to explore the island, visit the art community center and have lunch before returning in the evening to Puno. Transfer to hotel and overnight.

After breakfast we will be taken to the station and board the train that will take us through the Andes to Cusco, on the way we will appreciate a variety of landscapes starting with the plateau to reach La Raya at a height of 4319 meters above sea level, where we will also see thousands of llamas and alpacas, following the route descend through an interesting valley crossed by the Vilcanota River to the city of Cusco where we stay in hotel i
Today we travel by bus in one of the most beautiful routes to the city of Cusco. On the way we stopped at important places like La Raya, the border between the departments of Puno and Cusco (4300 m), Viracocha Temple Raqchi, Andahuaylillas with its beautiful colonial church and finally Piquillacta, an interesting construction of the Wari culture. Arriving in the afternoon to Cusco transfer to hotel and overnight.

DAY 10 CUSCO (Free Day)
Free day for optional tours. In the evening we visit the Center for Native Art to enjoy typical music and dances of the region. Overnight.

Cusco-Km 82-Yuncachimpa
We left early by private bus to Km 82 where we begin our journey along the Urubamba river until the first archaeological site Llaqtapata (2650 m). After a break we continue entering in the canyon of Cusichaca, continuing the hike Hatunchaca reach where we will have lunch. Then we climb up to the last village of Huayllabamba (3000 m) continuing to reach our first camp (3300 m Yuncachimpa).

After a healthy breakfast we start climbing to the first Open Warmiwañusca (4200 m) which is the highest point of the Inca trail, crossing different ecological zones where we can see the different orchids and birds that inhabit this magical place, we continue to climb to second Open Runcuracay (3900 m) that offers the view of the Vilcabamba mountain range and its snow. A decrease of about 2 hours leads to fascinating archaeological group Sayacmarca. After exploring this magical place we went to show Chaquicocha next camp.

DAY 13 INCA TRAIL: Chaquicocha – Wiñaywayna
Today is the most varied of our adventure day, continue along the original path of the Incas that surprises us with a parade of waterfalls, valleys, canyons, rivers and snowy as the Salkantay, all through the cloud forest. We arrived at the third open Phuyupatamarca (3600 m) from where we can see the mountain of Machu Picchu and the way to take us to her. During the descent the weather becomes warmer and more varied vegetation. Our next camp at Wiñaywayna (2700 m) offers one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the area for its construction and its location.

DAY 14 INCA TRAIL: Wiñaywayna-Machupicchu
The stretch to Intipunku or the Puerta del Sol is very interesting, where flora and fauna lovers find a paradise of diversity. From Intipunku we have the first and one of the best views of the famous lost city of the Incas: The legendary Machupicchu (2400 m). 30 minutes down lead us to our destination. After a break we visited this enigma in a guided tour and have some time for personal exploration. In the afternoon we descend to Aguas Calientes where we can relax optionally in the hot springs before a rest in our hotel.

Free day for optional visit to Machu Picchu, or explore this mysterious place up to Waynapicchu. In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco, transfer to hotel and overnight.

Arrival to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the port where we board our boat and begin an unforgettable journey through the Madre de Dios River.Along the way, you. You can observe the alligators, turtles, herons and other animals. Arrive Ecoamazonía Lodge, we served an exquisite welcome drink and we will settle into our bungalows, then lunch. In the company of our specialized guide we will visit the island MONKEY ISLAND. Located just 5 minutes from hostel, in the middle of the Madre de Dios river, the Monkey Island shelters different species of monkeys from the bustling maquisapas, gay achuñis and the imposing friars to small and gay lions. During the trip to the island, beautiful landscapes are displayed to their sight with the exuberant fauna and flora they contain. as well as a wonderful and solemn sunset in the jungle.

After breakfast we begin an adventure through the virgin forest, accompanied by a local guide; We hike internment to reach the Lost Cocha is a refuge ecosystem and feeding of an immense variety of animals like otters, alligators, turtles, tapirs, birds of multicolored plumage, the majestic jaguar and fish. This area is unique and belongs to the Eco-Amazon lodge, because it still stays intact, with immense swamps and marshes. We’ll ascend to and extraordinary vantage point built on top of the cup’s huge tree “Shihuahuaco”, from where you can appreciate the magic forest, also give a pleasant canoe ride around the lake.
